The 29th Wellington Company supports the revival of the Wellington Battalion, with a downhill go-kart derby being the first inter-company event held in several years.

It is important for boys to realise that they are a part of a greater whole than just their company. The promotion of fellowship with other boys in other companies helps to enforce the reality that Boys' Brigade is a national movement, with many different members from different places and positions. Also, Battalions can offer support in training, mentoring and advice that may sometimes be lacking in some companies. The 29th Wellington Company looks forward to future events to develop inter-company fellowship in the Greater Wellington Region.
